May 6, 2025

The 6th of May saw our responders volunteer to support EMAS and the Resuscitation Council UK’s drive to deliver CPR training to members of the public.

Charlie, Matt and Sean ready for kick off

Our volunteers visited the Attis Arena, home of Scunthorpe United, which was hosting the Northern Counties East League Final between Knaresborough Town and Beverley Town FC.

Before kick our volunteers, Matt, Charlie and Sean where situated in the main stand, greeting supporters as they arrived offering the opportunity to try CPR and use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).

It was a great turn out with some very enthusiastic supporters getting involved and sharing stories.

We often find people are frightened at the thought of using an AED, so to be able to allow people to get 'hands on' and use a training AED is indispensable and as a scheme we are always happy to help.

We would like to congratulate Beverley Town FC who came out on top in a pulsating cup final to win 3-2 to be crowned League Cup Winners 2024-25!
