We had an incredible time on Wednesday 13th May visiting the 15th Lincoln Cubs in North Hykeham. Our Serving Military Volunteer Responders had the pleasure of delivering a comprehensive first aid session, and the energy from the group was absolutely brilliant.
During the session, the Cubs mastered some vital life-saving skills:
• Emergency use of Tech: Learning how to use a parent’s phone to call for help (they are much faster at navigating those smartphones than we expected!).
• Safety First: Practicing the recovery position.
• First Aid: How to deal with burns, bleeding and asthma.
• Lifesaving Action: Getting hands-on practice with CPR.
• Kit Breakdown: An inside look at our specialist equipment, including the Lifepack 15.
The best part? Every single Cub earned their Level 2 First Aid Badge! We are so proud of their hard work and focus. Huge thanks to the 15th Lincoln Cubs for being such fantastic hosts.
